"Vita brevis, ars longa."

The Beta Sigma chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota was chartered April 23, 1953, but was re-established in 2003. Many of our current members are involved in a variety of extracurricular organizations on campus such as various honor societies, musical and theatrical productions, other Greek organizations, Residence Hall Association, etc. Our sisters are pursuing a variety of degrees including Music Performance, Music Education, Musical Theatre, Theatre, Communications, Journalism, Dance, and Public Health.

We are an extremely busy chapter, but we manage to make time to support each other, especially in musical performances on campus. We make a conscious effort to be a positive presence on campus and in the Tampa Bay community by participating in and hosting campus-wide events, such as our American Composer's Recitals, department recitals, and Relay for Life.
